Hartford Public High School and Weaver Boys and Girls teams competed in the CIAC Class M Championships Friday, February 13 at New Haven’s Hillhouse High School Field House, while Bulkeley, Capital Prep, Classical, HMTCA, SMSA, and University Boys and Girls teams competed in the Class S CIAC Championships on Saturday, February 14 at the Hartford Public High School Field House.
Below are the top performers at the indoor track class meets. All of the individuals/teams listed below placed in their events either at the Class M meet Friday, or Class S meet on Saturday. The top 18 finishers from all of the class meets (S, M, L, and LL) are invited to compete at the CIAC State Open meet on February 21st.
Students with ** next to their names will be competing at the CIAC Open Championship meet at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven on Saturday, February 21.

Ajani Walker - 5th in the Men's 55m dash (Class S)

Trocari Griffith-McCalop - 5th in Women's 300m (Class S)

**Hanief Jones - 1st in Men's 55m dash (Class M) freshman Hanief Jones won the CIAC Class M 55-meter dash title with a new school record time of 6.47! 2nd fastest freshman in the country!
Weaver
**Zemanie Shreeves - 4th in Women's 55m dash (Class M)
Yasmeen Browdy-Beckford - 4th in Women's 55m hurdles (Class M)
